Haringey Green Lanes Food Festival

Thousands of families enjoyed a fun-packed day as they flocked to the first ever Harringay Food Festival in Green Lanes London, N4.

More than 10,000 revellers tucked into tasty treats from around the globe and enjoyed dozens of stalls, children's activities and live entertainment at the festival on Sunday (September 20).

Green Lanes was transformed into a multi-cultural carnival as visitors took to the streets to savour the community atmosphere.

International foods - including Turkish, Greek, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Italian, Vietnamese, Eritrean and Jamaican - were on offer, and the entertainment also reflected the international vibe.

Traditional folk dancing, Kurdish, Turkish and Irish music, reggae, Eastern European folk music, Flamenco, hip-hop, swing, rock, Greek dance and live jazz all contributed to the carnival atmosphere, with the fun continuing at the Salisbury Pub after the street party drew to a lose.
